Fair Isle Cat Scarf. Black and white knit scarf with black kitties and small hearts.

Fair Isle cat scarf.  This scarf is made in the fair isle style and features black cats with small red hearts.  Don loom knits the length of the scarf using two strands of yarn at the same time.  This makes the scarf very thick and produces the beautiful fair isle pattern.  I hand crochet the cat silhouettes into the ends of the scarf using a tapestry crochet technique.  The cats and hearts are crocheted into the scarf and not attached as an applique.

This is a very well made scarf. The yarn is high quality acrylic and soft to the touch. All loose ends are sewn in and the last  photograph shows the back side of the scarf.  Scarf is machine washable and dryer friendly.

Scarf measure approximately 4.25 inches (11 cm) wide and 62 inches (157 cm) long. Measurement does not include the fringe.
